Glossary of CB Radio Terms

Nail it down - Pinpoint or recollect, or Hammer Down.

Nap Trap - Place to sleep.

Negative - No.

Negative Contact - Didn't make contact.

Negative Copy - Didn't hear.

Negatory - No.

Neon - Truck with many lights.

Nightcrawlers - Many police in the area.

Niner - Channel 9.

Ninety Weight - Liquor.

Nix - No.

Nodding off - Getting tired.

Nobody knows where the teddy bear goes - Police criss-crossing the freeway.

Noise Blanker - Circuit to reduce receiver noise.

Noise Limiter - Another noise reduction circuit. This reduces impluse type noise.
