Glossary of CB Radio Terms

Lady Bear - Female police officer.

Lady Breaker - Female CB operator asking for a break.

Lame - Broken down truck or car.

Land Line - The telephone.

Land Yacht - Mobile home or camper.

Lane Flipper - Car or truck that keeps changing lanes.

Lane Lover, Lane Hog. - Someone who won't get out of a particular lane.

Latrine Lips - One who has a dirty mouth.

Lay an eye out - Take a look.

Let the channel roll - Telling other CBers to break in and use the channel.

Legal Beagle, Legal Eagle. - One who always follows the rules.

Lettuce - Money.

Lights green, bring on the machine - Road is clear of police and obstructions.

Line - Freight line Trucking Company.

Linear - RF amplifier.

Little Bear - Local cop.

Little Beaver - Daughter.

Little Bit - Prostitute.

Little Brother - Same as Good Buddy.

Little Footwarmer - Linear Amplifier.

Load of rocks - Bricks.

Load of sticks, Load of House Parts. - Lumber.

Local Bear - Local cop.

Local Yokel - Small town cop.

Lock-Em-Up - Police station or jail.

Log - Truckers log book.

Log some Z's - Get some sleep.

Lollipop - D104 Astatic desk microphone.

Loot Limo - Armored Car.

LSB - Lower Sideband.
